Nuts and Bolts
The Nuts and Bolts Group Coaching program is designed to give you a crash course in being an effective CEO of a micro-business. Both new and experienced business owners can benefit. We meet in small groups for 2 hours each month and discuss the topics required for you to effectively run your business. We talk about everything from marketing to strategy. Examples of topics are:

Marketing & Product Operations & Management
- effective use of social media in marketing          - how to determine the cost of your product or service
- constructing a marketing program and tracking it - when to add employees and how to afford it
- partnering to grow sales capability - what kind of staff to use: employees, temps, interns, VA's
- pricing and packaging - when to move from your home office to a 'real' one
Sales & Sales Management Finance, Planning, & Strategy
- how to figure out what your sales SHOULD be - how to manage cash week to week
- pipelines, backlogs, and forecasting - how to get financing. What do you need and when
- how to close a sale. What to say and when - planning for the coming year. Why do those who plan ALWAYS do better?
- customer management after the sale - using an advisory board to take your business to the next step

The Nuts and Bolts Group Coaching is taught by Gail Zona, an experienced business coach and MBA. She uses her vast experience in fast-growing startup companies and distills it into best practices, tips and techniques for the busy micro-entrepreneur.

Gail believes in getting your hands dirty to learn something. So every session has an in-session workshop where you apply the concepts from the topic to YOUR business with how-to templates. And you do it while Gail can give you coaching onthe spot to help you learn. You will learn enough in the session to be able to use the new information the next very day!

Here's how it works

Learn something new

Each 2-hour session starts off with a handout on the new topic of the evening. Gail talks through the handout, discusses experiences the participants may have had and helps each business owner understand the why's behind the practice.

Try it out on your business

For each topic, Gail provides custom templates that make it easy to focus on your business problem instead of on the process. Each business owner uses the templates provided and works on applying that new topic and concept to his/her own business. Try forecasting sales or profiling your target market or determining next year's profits. Until you actually think about it in terms of your own business, it isn't real.

Get feedback and coaching

Now for the fun. Each business owner discusses his/her approach to the business problem. Everyone participates and Gail offers custom coaching on the spot to help the business owner see what to improve or think about differently. It's fun, fast-paced, and everyone goes home with something new!

$40/2-hour session. Or sign up for a quarter (3 months) and get 18% off with a price of $99 for 3 months.
 If you are a former WBC member then the price is $30/2-hour session or $80 for 3 months.
